Late Pick Up Policy

LCA understands that emergencies happen and parents may be late to pick up their children from school. However, we ask that parents make every effort to be on time.

Late Pick-Up Fee

Dismissal time starts at 1:45 pm EST. If a parent is more than 15 minutes late to pick up their child after this time,  they will be charged a late fee of $1 per minute. The late fee will be added to the parent's tuition bill.

Invoice

Parents will be issued an invoice for the total amount of late fees incurred. The invoice will be sent to the parent's email address on file with the school.

Exemptions

There are a few exemptions to the late pickup fee policy. These exemptions include:

• If the parent is unable to pick up their child due to a medical emergency.
• If the parent is picking up their child from an after-school activity on school grounds.
• If the parent has notified the school in advance that they will be late.

Enforcement

The late pickup fee policy will be enforced by the school administration. Parents who repeatedly violate the policy may be subject to additional disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the school.
