At LCA, we believe that growth is a lifelong journey. From our youngest learners to our high school graduates, we encourage students to grow in their faith, their intellect, and their service to others.
We believe that these opportunities help students to develop the character, skills, and knowledge they need to make a difference in the world.

Christian education is an integral part of our students' daily lives. We believe that a strong foundation in the Bible is essential for a well-rounded education.
In grades 2-12, students memorize Bible verses, participate in theology classes, and attend chapel on a weekly basis. We use the Positive Action curriculum, which provides a consistent and comprehensive approach to Christian education. This curriculum helps students develop a deep understanding of Biblical principles and how to apply them to their lives.
We believe that the Bible is the ultimate authority, and we teach our students to respect all denominations of Christianity. We do not teach denominational practices in the classroom.
We are committed to providing our students with a Christian education that will prepare them to live a life of faith, service, and leadership.
Student organizations at Lighthouse Christian Academy are an important part of the educational experience. They provide students with opportunities to learn and grow in ways that the classroom cannot.
Lighthouse Christian Academy believes that community service is an important part of a student's education. LCA students are encouraged to participate in a variety of community service activities throughout the school year. These activities can range from volunteering at local soup kitchens and homeless shelters to helping out at community events.
LCA believes that community service helps students develop a sense of civic responsibility and compassion for others. It also helps students learn about the needs of their community and how they can make a difference.
There are many different ways to get involved in community service at LCA. Students can work with their teachers to find an appropriate service project, or they can join one of the school's many community service clubs. LCA also offers a variety of service opportunities during the summer months.
LCA students who participate in community service are rewarded for their hard work. Students who complete a certain number of hours of community service are recognized at the school's annual awards ceremony.
If you are interested in getting involved in community service at LCA, please contact your teacher or the school's Booster Club coordinator.
The Lighthouse Christian Academy Student Council is a group of students who are committed to serving their school and community. The council works to promote school spirit, organize service projects, and advocate for student interests.
Some of the ways that the Student Council serves the school include:
The Student Council is a great way for students to get involved in their school and community. If you are interested in serving on the Student Council, please contact your child's teacher.
The student government is responsible for planning and organizing school events, representing student voices to the administration, and promoting school spirit.
The student government is made up of elected representatives from each grade level. The student government meets regularly to discuss school issues and plan upcoming events. The student government also works with the administration to ensure that the school is a welcoming and supportive environment for all students.
If you are interested in serving your school community, encourage your fellow students to run for student government. The student government is a great way to get involved in school activities, make a difference in the lives of your fellow students, and learn valuable leadership skills.
As Safety Patrollers, these students take on the responsibility of assisting fellow students and staff with safe arrival and dismissal procedures. Whether helping younger students cross the school grounds, ensuring orderly transitions in hallways, or promoting a culture of respect and responsibility, our Safety Patrol plays a vital role in fostering a positive and secure atmosphere.
We are thrilled to announce the integration of our new Technology and STEM activities center! We recognize the growing importance of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in the future success of our students, and we are committed to providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in this ever-changing world.
We have been equipped with state-of-the-art technology, like a 3D printer. This will allow our students to explore their interests in STEM and develop the skills they need to be successful in college and beyond.
In addition to our these new programs, we are also considering a variety of after-school clubs focused on STEM. These clubs will give students the opportunity to learn more about STEM topics, such as robotics, coding, and engineering.
We are excited to see what our students will accomplish with these new resources!
We believe that God's Word is the foundation for all truth, and that it should be applied to every area of life. We integrate Biblical principles into all aspects of our curriculum, including academics, character development, and social-emotional learning.
